Dental
Insurance
Our
patients are the most important people in our practice.
They are the people who come to us for their dental
needs. It is our profession to handle these needs
so pleasantly and professionally that they will return
again and again, and tell others about our quality
care and genuine concern.
As
a courtesy to you if we have all of your dental insurance
information on the day of service we will submit an
insurance claim form to your insurance company. We
file all claims electronically at the end of each
business day. By law your insurance company is required
to pay each qualifying claim within 30 days from the
date of service. However, we have found that there
is often confusion regarding insurance coverage. To
avoid confusion please be aware of the following:
You
are responsible for your child's bills. You must understand
that you are the responsible party and in turn are
responsible for payment of our fees. Insurance is
a contract between you and your insurance carrier
to help you pay for dental services.
We do not have a contract with your insurance company,
only you do.
Know
your insurance. We accept most dental insurance plans
but may not be a preferred provider with your particular
plan. It is your responsibility to determine if your
plan allows your child to see an out-of-network dentist.
We are a preferred provider for both Delta Dental
and Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Do
not expect 100% coverage. Insurance companies rarely
pay 100% of the charges incurred. Also, please note
that most carriers use their own fee schedule. This
means they will pay a percentage of their own set
fees, not a percentage of our fees.
Method
of Payment
Payment
is expected for services at the time they are rendered.
Our office accepts personal checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard
and Discover. Payment plans are available for large
treatment plans and Orthodontics.
